Compressor FX

Hi,

New to Multitrack DAW and really loving it.

Just a simple question, what is the meter displaying in the Compressor FX.

That meter displays the amount of gain reduction, in dB. So in other words, it's the amount of 'smashing', or squashing, being applied to the signal at each instant.
