Been trying to use IAA or Audiobus to auto start a drum application, but just cant find a way to get this to work.
I am using Drum beats+ for simple drum patterns, but to record I can set the Drum beats+ app as a "In" source, then have to arm the track, start recording, then quickly jump into Drum beats+ to start the beats.
I assume that it's maybe Drum beats+ that doesn't support the trigger to start, but interested to know if anyones done anything similar?
Currently using the workaround to cut/paste the drum pattern into Multitrack DAW, then cut/paste multiples times to the required length of the song, but would rather be able to record drums and guitar at same time to right length.
Thanks.

Re: Autostart / sync IAA or Audiobus applications
Hi Dazzaxjr,
It sounds like Drum beats+ might not support IAA synchronization. MultiTrack is filling the HostCallback with the proper data, so if it doesn't sync to tempo/start/stop/position it might be the app. I haven't tried that particular app, but I know the FunkBox app can sync. first set the tempo in multitrack then add it to the track on the input and arm it, then you can switch to funkbox and when using the IAA controls in the upper left to start and stop multitrack, it will also start the beat playing aligned on the measure. MultiTrack will record it aligned.
