Hello, I am new here and I would like to ask anybody who may be able to help me find a suitable audio interface that will enable me to record with one or possibly two phantom powered microphones and allow me to have zero latency monitoring with reverb while recording into MTDAW.
For years I have been using an iMac with TC electronic Konnekt 6 audio interface which has zero latency monitoring with reverb which makes recording that much more enjoyable rather than hearing only a dry signal. However on the Konnect 6 the monitoring reverb is achieved by a piece of software being loaded into iMac. I understand that some audio interfaces have the reverb effect processor built into the audio interface itself so the effect can be mixed in with the dry signal without incurring latency, but I cannot find anywhere on the Internet any mention of an interface does this for the iPad. Anyone out there please help me. Thank you very much. Ricky

I think (but not 100% sure) that MOTU Ultralite mk4 and Ultralite AVB can do it. Ultralite mk3 hybrid and other older MOTU devices are, as far as I know, NOT iOS compatible. However, I know that my personal favourite interface can do it: the amazing Keith McMillen K-mix!

Re: Audio interface with Zero latency monitoring with reverb ?
Thanks for that... great looking interfaces but far too expensive for my needs.
In the end I bought a Yamaha AG03 for £99. It has a built in processor for reverb, compression and eq that can be added to the zero latency monitor mix while the dry signal gets recorded... or you can record the effected sound you hear if you so wish. If anyone should be interested in one, it sounds very clean and works well with MTDAW as long as you use a genuine apple lightning to camera adapter for the ipad/phone. All the best Ricky
