I have some songs I am working on where the guitar part is only on the left, or right, channel. Is there any way to duplicate this left, or right, channel to get it to appear on both channels. On each of these the unused channel us quiet.
Thanks.

Hi TimRyland
It's possible, by using copy/paste. Pan the track all the way to the side that has the audio you want to make mono, and copy the region to the pasteboard. Then create a new track, Arm it for mono, paste and align it in time with the old region (make sure 'Snap' is on), then delete the original region. The new track will be mono and pannable.
The important thing is when pasting, the destination track must be mono (or armed for mono). Then the stereo copy on the pasteboard will be converted to mono, according to the pan settings of the original track.

Use the ">>>IN" button to select a mono input for the track.
