VU-meter on mono-channel malfunction?

Post by svimes »

Hi there!

I'm really excited, what MultiTrack gets out of my old iPad.
But there's on strange behaviour I noticed today and I didn't find it here in the forum:

Using a mono-channel during playback, panning the channel to far right - the VU-meter of that channel shows no level anymore, although there IS level, as one can hear. Panning left changes nothing regarding the VU-meter (as it should).
Having a quick look at the channel-headers during playback it seems as if there's no information in this channel, when it's panned hard right. That's disturbing ;-)

Bug or feature?

Take care,
Sam

Yeah, that's a bug for sure. Sort of embarrassing, actually. 6.2 had a complete audio engine rewrite, I was expecting something minor to crop up but not something so obvious. Gah, I'll have an update asap, but unfortunately the update (6.2.2) that just came out wont address it. Thanks for finding this!
