IPod Importing Videos with audio extraction

The Update: If only I could select videos from my recorded videos and import the audio only into a track just like the iPod song extraction function.

The reason: I like to use a lot of excerpts in my music of real life because I find them well real in comparison to staged conversations and I can bust out my camera 10x quicker than MTDAW to capture things in the spur of the moment. The built in mic is really good on my iPhone4 so I am pretty sure the camera will pick up the same quality audio as MTDAW, maybe not though.
