What do I use to record 8 tracks simultaneously?
The update said you can do that so what dock would I use?

The only one I know about so far is the Tascam US-800, though there are probably a lot more out there.

I'm going to walk into some music stores with my iPad and the camera connection kit and try out a bunch more in the next couple days. If anyone wants to do this as well the sales people are always very interested in getting things to work with the iPad, they will spend hours with you as they learn what devices are class compliant and what isn't.
